This is the first time I've used the opensource software bbPress to power a forum, so this area is a bit experimental. Also, the version of bbPress that is powering the forum is an alpha/test version, so it could be a little sketchy. But so far, so good.

Q: Do I need to log in to post a new topic or reply to a topic?
A: Yes

Q: Do I need to create an account to be able to log in?
A: Yes

Q: What will you do with my account information?
A: Absolutely nothing. Your information is yours. Bike McCall will never sell your information or spam you with emails or offers.

Q: I just created an account and the auto-generated password is gnarly and hard for me to remember. Can I change it?
A: Yes. After you log in, you can select the "View your profile" link (near the center/top of the page), and then the "edit this information" link (a few lines down). From there, you'll be able to change all of your account profile info, including your password.

Q: I forgot my Password. Can I retrieve it?
A: Yes, but it's a bit unintuitive, so don't feel bad. Simply attempt to log in with your Username and ANY password. At the bottom of the page, you'll see a "Recover Password" link that will walk you through things.

Q: I forgot my Username. Can I retrieve it?
A: No dice. You'll have to create a new account. If you're totally in love with it, email us and we may be able to help. But we don't recommend that.

Q: Someone is spamming the heck out of the Bike McCall Forum with posts and replies that don't belong here. What can I do?
A: Please contact Bike McCall so that we can clean up the mess and block that user. Thanks for your help!

Q: Can I post a photo or video in the Forum?
A: Not sure at this time. Still working on it.

Q: Does the site support Gravatars?
A: Yes. But it seems that they are only working for Blog at this point, not the Forum.

Q: What's a Gravatar?
A: It's an icon that you can associate with your email address, so that it shows up next to your comments, etc. Go to http://en.gravatar.com/ to get one.

It's probably way too early for this, but are there any mountain bike trails/rides that are known for being "open" early season?

With the pavement seemingly thawed, and the nordic and alpine ski seasons winding down, it's time to start getting ready for riding the road. What are some great early-spring rides in the McCall area?
